We receive additional funds from the Government based on those pupils who are in receipt of Free School Meals, in the care of the Local Authority or if they are from service families, to support these children and enhance their educational experiences and reduce any gaps between their achievement and that of the rest of the school population.

We are required to account very carefully for these funds and to publish a brief summary of how funds have been used and the impact they have had.

Sports Premium is an amount of money which the government has agreed to allocate to schools to increase the quality and breadth of PE and Sport provision, as well as increasing participation in PE and Sport.

The amount of funding received is based upon the number of children of primary age the school has.
